all nighter

Staying up all night is harder then it looks. I did it the other night.  It was pretty hard. I put ice down my pants but all that did was make me pull my covers on more. I also tried talking to myself and that worked. I filled the bathroom sink with cool water. I put my face in the water and almost fell asleep.  When I was about to drown I pulled my face I of the water.                            The next morning I went to take my dogs out at five A.M. and we where chasing birds. When I went inside I was fighting myself because my soul was saying not to go to sleep but my mind wanted to go to sleep. The next night I tried to stay up but my soul came to an agreement with my mind and I fell asleep. I woke up in the morning and tried to dance but I went back to sleep for good.

Dog Hunt

My two small dogs, six-year-old Feisty and one year old Oscar, like to go hunting for cats, birds, and ground animals.  The other day we were going for a walk and a few minutes later we were playing by a tree where a pipe was sticking out and broken on top. I didn’t see the cat in it until the dogs stepped on the cat. As soon as the dogs saw the cat get up and run they went after it. When I knew what was going on I let the dogs chase it.  When we lost the cat we went inside for a brake. After the brake we went outside again and this time Feisty and Oscar went to the spot were the cat had been and they followed the sent of the cat all the way to the cat again. The chase was on. We chased that cat until it was out of sight. We don’t plan to chase that cat anymore because it is our neighbor’s but it was fun.  The story doesn’t end there. The next morning I took them out and this time there were two birds really close to Feisty and Oscar.  I knew Feisty would have no problem getting the bird because I taught him to hunt small animals. He caught the bird we were chasing that morning.  Oscar was stalking the bird then started to chase it. He came a foot away from destroying that bird.  Feisty didn’t get a bird on his fist hunt and neither did Oscar.   I gave Oscar some slack but we have some practice to do.  I hope they become true hunting dogs
